MLB HR PICK
|
Carter Jensen (KC) To Hit a Home Run (+425)
We've harped on Kauffman Stadium in KC all season, so why not focus on the Royals with our bonus pick? This lefty has been on a heater, and with Jac Caglianone leaving last night's game, even more responsibility is on him to produce. He gets to reap the benefits of facing Spencer Arrighetti, who has allowed a .194 ISO to lefties this season. Better yet, Jensen has a .246 ISO vs. righties this year, and with him projected to lead off again today, we can cash this one nice and early!

MLB STOLEN BASE PICK
|
Corbin Carroll (ARI) To Steal a Base (+380)
Despite being stuck in a bit of a slump of late, Carroll's 97th percentile sprint speed taking on Peter Lambert's 4+ ERA at home and 14.2% walk rate against left-handed hitters might just be exactly what the doctor ordered. Aside from the walks, Lambert has been rather tough on left-handed hitters, but numbers for lefties against Lambert are up a bit in the second half. Lambert has a 4.63 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in the second half, and his 1.7% stolen base attempt rate is above the league average (1.3%).
