Good Afternoon!
|
Chicago are back in primetime, this time at Lumen Field against the defending champs, and they are underdogs at +3.5 despite carrying the better record. Mark is taking the points: Seattle held Kansas City to three points a week ago and have since traded for Quenton Nelson, but he only needs the Bears to stay within a field goal. Both exclusives, though, come from the Seattle side of the ball.

NFL FIRST TD PICK
|
AJ Barner (SEA) First TD Scorer (+1500)
Luther Burden was just three yards away from hitting our first TD pick for the Bears last game (he still scored an anytime TD for us), and now they're back in primetime. However, they now have to deal with the defending champs' defense, while they're defense is going to need to prioritize Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The battle of newcomers in the trenches of Quenton Nelson and Jeffrey Simmons will be awesome, but we're first going to root for the TE to score early.

Howard Bender
NFL PASSING PROP
|
Sam Darnold (SEA) Over 1.5 Passing TDs
After locking down opposing QBs through the first few games, the Bears have allowed at least two touchdown passes in each of their last three games. Sam Darnold has had success against softer coverage schemes and if the Jonathan Taylor to Seattle rumors are true, there might need to be a heavier lean on the pass this week.

Mark's full MNF breakdown is above with the anytime TD board, the showdown playbook and the best bets beside it, and the NBA waiver wire closes things out for anyone in a basketball league. Kickoff is 8:15 PM ET from Lumen Field on ESPN and ABC, Chicago are +3.5 and Mark is taking the points, needing only a one-score game. Both exclusives come from the Seattle side though: Mark wants AJ Barner to open the scoring at +1500, and Howard has Sam Darnold over 1.5 passing touchdowns against a Bears defense that has conceded at least two in each of its last three. Good luck tonight.
