Good Morning!
|
Friday night gives us two Big Ten sides heading in opposite directions. Washington started the season with real hopes and has made a mess of conference play; Purdue have won two in a row, they're at home, and the Huskies may be without their starting quarterback. Then it's back to the ALCS, where Cleveland lead 2-1 and still have not named a starter for tonight.
Here's what you need to know today.

MLB MONEYLINE PICK

Tampa Bay Rays Moneyline (-110)
Cleveland took the series lead 2-1 last night, but they had the luxury of Gavin Williams on the mound. Not only will they not have their ace tonight, but they also haven't even committed to a starter at all. Tampa's Nick Martinez isn't Gavin Williams either, but his lack of hard contact allowed can keep an already lackluster Guardians lineup at bay. After an NLCS sweep, we've got the ALCS getting tied up at 2-2 tonight.

MLB OUTS PROP
|
Nick Martinez (TB) Over 11.5 Outs Recorded
While Martinez failed to get beyond the fourth inning in the ALDS, he's facing a much softer offense loaded with lefties, against whom Martinez has found great success this season. He's more than capable of throwing six innings, so believing he can complete four frames and spare the bullpen extra wear and tear is a bet we are more than willing to make.

Steven's Washington-Purdue breakdown is above with Dan's full Week 7 card beside it, and the Week 6 weather report and games-to-watch are there for anyone already pointing at Sunday. Tonight, though, the ALCS can level. Cleveland lead 2-1 but spent Gavin Williams doing it, and they have not named a starter for Game 4. Both exclusives back Tampa off that: Mark on the Rays money line at -110, Howard on Nick Martinez to record more than 11.5 outs and spare the bullpen. Good luck tonight.
