TODAY'S FEATURED STORY

BETTING
Mark Lammey is taking Detroit +4.5, and the reasoning is that the market has overcorrected. Josh Allen scored four touchdowns in Week 1 and Detroit nearly got upset by New Orleans, which is exactly why this number sits above a field goal instead of below it. Buffalo also gave up 31 to Houston, and facing Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown on a short week is a different problem.

MLB HR PICK
|
Riley Greene (DET) To Hit a Home Run (+335)
We could easily just go with a guy at Coors Field, but we're going to pick on Erick Fedde instead. The White Sox would prefer the righty not even be in the rotation, but it's great news for Greene's monster .262 expected ISO vs. righties. Even if they don't keep Fedde in long, Greene has a .189 expected ISO vs. lefties if they try and throw a southpaw at him. So, let's ride with his 96th percentile barrel rate.

MLB STOLEN BASE PICK
|
Elly De La Cruz (CIN) To Steal a Base (+363)
The Dodgers are calling up righthander Landon Knack who may have a tough time with the speed atop the Reds lineup. Especially with Hunter Feduccia and his 14-percent caught-stealing rate. De La Cruz has hit safely in five-straight and in 13 of his last 14 games. He is also posting a .356 wOBA against righties this season, so let's lock him in for a stolen base today.
