Good Morning!
|
Coop's sleeper rules are simple: under 40% rostered, and we want a big week now rather than a stash. Cleveland's backfield has collapsed far enough that Jaleel McLaughlin, who was zero percent rostered before waivers ran, might be the only back standing. Pittsburgh has three receivers ruled out, so Germie Bernard and Pat Freiermuth both get a look. Then tonight the Dodgers try to climb out of an 0-2 hole.
Here's what you need to know today.

Brewers vs. Dodgers Over 7.5 (-105)
Blake Snell is set to help LA dig themselves out of their 2-0 hole now at home, but even if he's able to do so and hit his K prop along the way, we've still got the over hitting. Dodger Stadium is extremely hitter-friendly, so the Dodgers themselves can handle six of these runs facing Robert Gasser. It will be interesting to see the gameplan with Shohei Ohtani, but their roster is deep enough to pour it on in what is now desperation mode.

AJ Barner (SEA) Over 2.5 Receptions
Despite the loss of Patrick Surtain, the Denver defense continues to push everything to the middle of the field. Thy rank 20th in DVOA against the tight end and are allowing an average of almost eight passes for 60 yards to the position each week. Barner averages at least four targets per game and has gone over this reception number in two of his last three games.

Coop's sleepers are above with risers and fallers beside them, the survivor pool pick for anyone still alive in one, and the NBA draft-day targets now that basketball season is here. Tonight is Game 3 at Dodger Stadium, where Blake Snell tries to pull Los Angeles out of an 0-2 hole and Mark is taking the over 7.5 whether that works or not. Howard has skipped ahead to Sunday with AJ Barner over 2.5 receptions, against a Denver defense that funnels everything to the middle of the field. Good luck tonight.
